2. Cloud: where Snowplow takes care of hosting of the pipeline and delivers raw data in your own data warehouse. Features to manage event data and models for specific use cases.

Pricing

Open-source is free, cloud starts at €35k per year and scales based on event volume and SLA terms.

Location of data

For both open-source and self-hosted the raw data is stored in your own data warehouse. For the cloud version the Snowplow pipeline is hosted on AWS Europe in Frankfurt.

Important notes

Does not have a built-in BI interface for the wider teams.
